Thank you for choosing to be part of the Catholic Community of Pleasanton. I am glad you are here. I would like to personally invite you to experience the many wonderful and varied ways we can bring you closer to Christ and the community.

Who are we?

We are a very family-oriented community,honoring the many faces of family.
We are grateful for a vibrant music ministry which nurtures all our liturgies.
We are a participative community with a high level of parishioner involvement in over seventy ministries.
We offer a variety of opportunities for Faith formation including child/family/adult and intergenerational.
We are committed to serving the poor and disadvantaged.
We have small Christian communities and social activities to promote fellowship and camaraderie among our parishioners.
We are an evangelizing community with a passion for sharing the Gospel with others, especially those longing for a church home.

The Catholic Community of Pleasanton is a vibrant Christian community offering unlimited opportunities for Christian growth and fellowship for both men and women, youth and adults. Meet new friends and find new direction in your life at Sunday worship and throughout the week.

For the Children

We have an active religious education and youth ministry program for pre-school through 12th grade. Included in the program are preparation for the sacraments of Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation; retreat/camp opportunities for junior high and high school; CYO basketball and track.

For the Needs of Many

The parish has a wealth of ministries to meet various needs, including scripture study; baptism and marriage preparation; Eucharist for shut-ins and hospital patients; programs for widowed and divorced individuals (Genesis); grief support; Returning Catholics program; Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) for people interested in joining the church; St. Vincent de Paul; and the Knights of Columbus service activities . . . just to name a few! click Ministries and & Programs for a complete guide to parish ministries, programs, and organizations and click on Faith Formation for information on youth and adult Sacramental programs.


If you have been away from the Church for awhile, we would love to have you with us.You and your family would be a gift to our community. If you are not Catholic, but open to looking into the Catholic Church, please know how happy we would be to answer your questions and share the gift of our faith.
