Facing the Holidays with a Broken Heart

 

The holidays you have dreaded are approaching, at
every turn, you are faced with your heartache and loss.

 

Father Padraig Greene will facilitate on Thursday,
November 12, at 7:30 p.m., St. Elizabeth Seton.

 

No preregistration required, all are welcome regardless of
religious affiliation.

 

Liturgical Ministry Training Session Make-Up
 
If you missed the ministry training sessions in mid-October, you have two additional opportunities to make them up:

St Augustine (Church):
November 13: Friday at 7:30 p.m.
 
St Elizabeth (Church):
November 16: Monday at 7:30 p.m.
 
ALL Eucharistic/Head Eucharistic Ministers and Ushers, as well as those new to a ministry, are required to attend.

WINGS - Women in God's Spirit
 

The next meeting of the WinGS group is Monday, November 16, 2009 at the JPII Activity Center from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

WINGS welcomes women of all ages from the Christian Community who want to grow in their relationship with God and each other.  Through speakers and small group sharing in a safe environment, women are given the opportunity to discern the movement of God in their lives, form friendships, pray, and be strengthened and affirmed by the support of their Christian sisters and the Holy Spirit.

Our speaker for the November 16th meeting is Mary Ruth Cross on the Fruit of the Spirit - Faithfulness.  Please join us.

Light of Hope

Advent Gathering for Those Affected by Cancer


 
Cancer can make one feel like there is no light.  Advent is a time of looking to God's promise of hope to heal us in mind, body and spirit.  

For all those affected by cancer you are invited to join Ira Stein and Mary Ruth Cross for an evening of music, prayer and sharing our stories. This evening is for those in treatment, caretakers and survivors.

Please join us on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel at St. Elizabeth Seton Church.  All are welcome.
