Ombudsman

A person who knows how to get things done, how to access the right persons, how to express suggestions and complaints. This person may be called when you have a suggestion or a complaint, when you want to know who to talk to about some issue you are concerned with. He/she will see that your note (ideas) are given to the right person and that you get some response to your words within a month. This will help facilitate your sense of ownership in this parish, giving you another point of access, when you might find it too difficult to directly approach one of the parish staff or the head of the Parish Council.

St. Vincent de Paul Society

The function of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in the parish is to fulfill the purpose of the corporal works of mercy in an organized way -- not to relieve the parishioners of this obligation, but to act as an extension of the pastor in fulfilling a need within the parish. Visiting the sick, the needy, senior citizens and providing in some way for their needs until their problems are resolved. Calls for many different demands and solutions.
