The Social Justice and Outreach Committee will meet on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. and on the first Thursday of each month through June, 2011. We meet in the “Crying Room” on the west side of the sanctuary at St. Elizabeth Seton. The clergy liaison is Deacon Gary Wortham. Agendas are prepared and transmitted in advance and minutes are kept, but the meetings are conducted rather informally.

The work of the committee is done by the committee members who volunteer, usually in September, to fill certain roles. Other work commitments are made on a volunteer basis as the need arises. The committee tries to make contact with and maintain working relationships with many CCOP groups, ministries, and organizations and with many outside organizations as well. Potential new members and visitors are welcome.

This single web page is scheduled to be replaced early in September with a full description of the committee’s activities and the issues we try to deal with.
