Ministry Fair Dates

Ministry Fair Dates are planned for the weekends of May 18, one in June, and one in July. Learn about the opportunities available among our parish ministries, programs and organizations.

Ministry Sign-Up Sunday

Later this August on the weekend after school begins, we will have Ministry Sign-up Sunday in our Parish. This is when we ask the members of this parish family to step up to the plate and be good stewards of their time and their talent, as they are good stewards of their treasure.

All of us have something to contribute from our wisdom, our time and energy, our talent. We have been blessed by God. We give Him thanks by returning something of what God has given us directly back to Him.

So, I ask you when the time comes to pray about this matter. What is the Lord calling you to do in the service of His people this coming year? The year goes from the First Sunday in Advent on November 30, 2008 and ends on the Feast of Christ the King on November 22, 2009 so it is not a lifelong commitment. You will have time in late September to train in your ministry and with schedules released in Octobers, you can integrate your ministry schedule into your family, work, and social commitments. Everyone, no matter what his/her age or condition can do something and help out in some way.

Fortunately in this community, many, many people have come to realize that together we are all the Church which continues the mission of Jesus in our world. And we are willing to assume some responsibility for it, just as any member of a family would.

Thanks be to God who has given you insight into being good stewards of His manifold gifts. Our community is so blessed in and through you! We would not be anywhere near the parish we are without you.
