Imagine a world where every little girl owned at least one new dress
Dress a Girl Around the World is a part of Hope 4 Women International (a 501 (c) 3 organization) bringing dignity to women around the world since 2006. We dream of a world in which every girl has at least one new dress. We want girls to know that they are worthy of respect, and that they are loved by God. The SF Bay Area chapter of Dress A Girl Around the World started in 2010 by Suzanne Beck with a few women from CCOP. Today we have grown to over 100 very active members and over 450 on the mailing list. We meet 9-10 times per year for a "Sew-Fest" where we pool our talents for the day making and sewing dress kits. We also collect dresses that have been made the prior month for labeling and sorting, each month we process an average of 700 dresses! We have a variety of jobs available so you do not need to know how to sew to be involved! We need folks to cut fabric, iron, sort, and pack; and those with good color sense to assemble dress kits. Questions? Suzanne Beck, 925-352-8447 or [email protected]. |
Here's the final tally for making dresses in 2025!
Thanks to all who have contributed in any way--there are just so many people to thank...any- and every-one who:
So thank you, thank you, thank you!! Now pray that each of these 8068 dresses will go to the little girl that God intends and that he will bless each of those lives with His love and His presence! |
