BABY BOTTLE FUNDRAISER
Sponsored by The Knights Of Columbus The CCOP Knights of Columbus will be conducting their annual baby bottle drive during the month of May to raise funds for local pregnancy resource centers. These centers provide loving support to mothers in need and their babies, both born and unborn. Funds raised this year will be augmented via the Knights of Columbus Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) Program. Under this program, for every $500 our CCOP council donates to an individual pregnancy resource center (up to $2,000), the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council will donate $100. Bottles will be distributed following masses on the weekend of May 4/5 (weekend before Mother’s Day weekend) and will be collected before masses on the weekend of May 18/19 (weekend after Mother’s Day weekend). |

PHISHING SCAM
Once again, along with many other parishes in the Oakland diocese and beyond, CCOP continues to be targeted by scammers impersonating Fr. Mark via BOTH email and text messages, asking for money, gift cards or simply a response. There were a number of reports today in particular. THESE EMAILS OR TEXTS ARE NOT FROM FR. MARK. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND. If you receive one of these emails, please mark it as spam or simply delete it. If you receive one of these texts, simply delete it. Response only encourages more attacks. You will only receive email from Fr. Mark from his catholicsofpleasanton.org email address. He will not text you directly. Please contact Michael Harmon, mharmon@catholicsofpleasanton.org if you have any questions. |
