Welcome to the Catholic Community of Pleasanton (CCOP)! We are so glad you're on our website, and we hope to meet you soon. Below is information that should answer some immediate questions you might have. Feel free to browse around the rest of the website to learn more about us!
How is CCOP different than other churches?
St. Augustine’s has been located in the heart of the Pleasanton community since 1901. Our newest campus, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, was dedicated in 2000. We are two church buildings but one parish community. One of the distinct things about our church is that we're an all-generations community. There's a place for you here, and we look forward to seeing you soon. St. Augustine’s is located at 3999 Bernal Ave., Pleasanton, CA 94566 and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is located at 4001 Stoneridge Dr., Pleasanton, CA 94588.
What can I expect on the weekends?
We have eight worship services between Saturdays and Sundays. Four are at St. Augustine and four are at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. The 6:30 p.m. mass is what we call our “youth mass” and is more modern in style (live band, teen lectors, etc.)
St. Augustine Mass Times: Saturday 5:00 p.m., Sunday 8:00 a.m.,10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Mass Times: Sunday 9:00 a.m.,11:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
Is there a program for my children during mass?
We offer Children’s Liturgy of the Word for children Pre-K – 5th grade on Sunday mornings at the 10:00 a.m. liturgy at St. Augustine and the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. liturgies at St. Elizabeth Seton. Children will participate in music, story time, teaching, and small group discussion (where age-appropriate). There is no need to register for this, as the children follow the group as they are led out by the “shepherds” during the liturgy. For more information on programming for certain ages, please click the links below.
1st – 8th Grade
9th - 12th Grade
How do I get involved?
There are many ways to get involved. Here are three of them:
If you have been away from the Church for awhile, we would love to have you with us. You and your family would be a gift to our community. If you are not Catholic, but open to looking into the Catholic Church, please know how happy we would be to answer your questions and share the gift of our faith.
If you would like more information about our parish family please feel free to contact any of our Parish Staff at 925.846.4489 or contact our Pastor, Fr. Paul Minnihan, directly at email@example.com.
