Knights Of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus was founded by Fr. Michael J. McGivney in 1882. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity, and fraternity. In 2018, the Michael J. Costello Council #6043 will celebrate 50 years of service to our Pastor, Priests, Parish, and Community.
Council 6043 is part of the Catholic Community of Pleasanton, two churches under one Pastor. We meet at St Augustine’s Parish Hall, located at 3999 Bernal Ave., in rooms 4-5.
We appreciate your interest in joining and being a member. Membership in this organization carries with it very few obligations. One specific expectation is for participating in some of the charitable events. The time commitment is about 24 hours per year, excluding monthly business meetings.
Please visit the Pleasanton Knights website for more information: www.kofc6043.org.
The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), through the vehicle of sports, provides youth with an opportunity to practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities and to become friends with other children throughout the diocese. CYO activities should be examples of the meaning of Christian sportsmanship." (CYO Code of Conduct)
The Oakland Diocese Catholic Youth Organization is a church-sponsored athletic program for elementary and junior high age youth from the parishes of the Catholic Diocese of Oakland. CYO Sports are offered by the Church as a ministry to young people.
