The music ministry program plays a very important role in the Church. Music encourages a conscious and active participation from the assembly during liturgical celebrations so that we can more fully recognize ourselves as the "Body of Christ." Our music ministry is very active in the pastoral life of the community as well as supporting the prison ministry, faith formation program, and those celebrating the sacraments of the church. We are thankful for the many opportunities to minister to this community through our gifts of music. We invite you to share your musical gifts with the Catholic Community of Pleasanton.
We
remind ourselves of God's wonderful presence through our sharing the awesome
gift of God's love. Our challenge is to share our gifts . . . to find
new ways to love others . . . bring hope to people around us. The glimpses
we have of God come through our willingness to share what we have . .
. We must never give up on the search to open our hearts fully to God's
call. |

| This music project reflects the joy of being part of one of the many ministries at St. Augustine Church. As with any ministry, there are struggles accompanying the challenges of commitment. Therein lies the essence of God's power: to transform simple intentions into profound journeys. Journeys guided by God's wisdom and loving embrace. This ministry's journey represents the diversity of music accompanying our worship services and concerts. The words, music, and efforts of everyone involved are our way of thanking the Lord our God for the gifts He has bestowed on us . . . may this music help bring God's peace to all of our hearts. The Blessings Already
