Evangelization

WELCOME!
The ​Evangelization committee is an outreach group that reaches out to our brothers and sisters who are not yet part of our CCOP community.  We provide a safe place to explore faith and ask questions.  When someone is ready, we provide a path to one of our parish inquiry programs.     

We also welcome new parishioners and host events to keep our parishioners connected and foster opportunities to grow together in faith.  The events are fun and typically for the whole family.  Some of the events that we sponsor are:

Newcomer Events

• As new parishioners join the church, a member of the Team reaches out to them.  We provide a contact to answer questions about getting involved in ministry and an opportunity to connect with someone. 
• Newcomers are invited to join events to welcome new parishioners to CCOP.  It may be a meet/greet after Mass or a small gathering where new parishioners get a chance to meet and talk with clergy, members of the Pastoral Council, and other ministry leaders.

Parish Picnic
It is a fun event filled with games, music and food for the whole family.  It is held in September every year on the grounds of St. Augustine.  All are welcome!  We always need help setting up, managing the day, and tearing down. The committee plans the theme, food, entertainment and games.
