We live as Christ calls us to live and we make Him better known by Works of Charity, by pursuing Social Justice, by Evangelizing others, and by Caring for each other.

Charity and Social Justice
We live the Gospel of love for others, individually and in community by:
  • Charitable Works - short-term, immediate assistance for individuals.
  • Social Justice - addressing systemic, root causes of problems that affect many people.

Evangelization
We are His voice in the world to reach out and evangelize others.

Family Life Ministries
We nurture family life and care for each other in our needs.

CCOP CYO

The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), through the vehicle of sports, provides youth with an opportunity to practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities and to become friends with other children throughout the diocese. CYO activities should be examples of the meaning of Christian sportsmanship."  (CYO Code of Conduct)

The Oakland Diocese Catholic Youth Organization is a church-sponsored athletic program for elementary and junior high age youth from the parishes of the Catholic Diocese of Oakland. CYO Sports are offered by the Church as a ministry to young people.
